Nations International Journal of Multi-Disciplinary Studies (NIJMS) is an open-access journal published by Nations Incorporated Publishing. It operates under an open-access policy, providing unrestricted online access to all published content to support the global exchange of knowledge. This ensures that articles can be freely accessed, read, and downloaded by anyone without any cost or restrictions.

All content published in NIJMS is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license:

  • NIJMSpublishes original, high-quality research articles, reviews, scholarly and practitioners’ papers across various disciplines.
  • NIJMS’ scope encompasses a wide range of topics, including but not limited to business, science, education, social sciences, law and the arts.
  • NIJMSaims to foster intellectual exchange, promote innovative research, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the respective disciplines.


Manuscript Submission

  • Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal's specific formatting guidelines and adhere to ethical research practices, including the ethical use of AI in their research.
  • Authors should ensure that the submitted work is original and has not been published previously or under consideration for publication in other journals.
  • All authors should be appropriately credited, and conflicts of interest, if any, must be disclosed.


Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts submitted to NIJMS will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of the research.
  • Peer reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field and are expected to provide unbiased, constructive, and timely feedback.
  • The review process aims to evaluate the scientific soundness, methodology, clarity, and significance of articles submitted for publication consideration.
  • Authors will be notified of the decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on peer reviewers’ recommendations.


Open Access Policy

  • NIJMSfollows an open access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide.
  • Authors are generally required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC).
  • NIJMSalso encourages authors to deposit their preprints or post prints in appropriate repositories to enhance accessibility and visibility of their research.


Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain the copyright of their published work, granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article.
  • Published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, with proper attribution.
  • Proper citation of the original publication in the journal should be included when reusing or referring to any published material.


Editorial Independence and Conflict of Interest:

  • NIJMS maintains editorial independence from any external influence, ensuring that editorial decisions are based solely on the merit and quality of the research.
  • Editors, reviewers, and journal staff should declare any potential conflicts of interest that may compromise the impartiality or integrity of the publication process.


Retraction and Corrections

  • NIJMS may issue retractions or corrections if significant errors, misconduct, or ethical concerns are identified in published articles.
  • Retractions or corrections will be clearly indicated and communicated to the readership, ensuring transparency and accountability.


Publication Ethics and Misconduct

  • NIJMS upholds the highest ethical standards and expects authors, reviewers, and editors to adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in academic publishing. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification,and any other form of research misconduct are strictly prohibited.
  • Any allegations of misconduct will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.


Data and Reproducibility

  • Authors should provide access to the underlying data and materials whenever possible to enable reproducibility and transparency of the research.
  • Large datasets or software codes can be deposited in suitable repositories and referenced in the published article.


Editorial Discretion

  • NIJMSreserves the right to make editorial decisions, including acceptance, rejection, or modifications to submitted manuscripts, based on the relevance, quality, and alignment with the journal's scope.


Conflict of Interest

  • Persons serving on the advisory and editorial team are not allowed to publish in the journal.
  • NIJMSwill consider only TWO submissions per publication period from faculty and staff of Nations Inc, provided that the publications meet the standards outlined in manuscript submission guidelines and pass the peer review process.


Editorial Process (Peer Review)
NIJMS follows a clear peer review process to ensure that manuscripts meet the highest academic standards. Each submitted article undergoes an initial editorial review to check for scope alignment and quality before being sent to experts in the relevant field. Peer reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, significance, methodology, and clarity. Authors receive constructive feedback to refine their work as needed.

 

No Article Processing Charge (APC)
We are pleased to inform authors that the Nations International Journal of Multi-Disciplinary Studies (NIJMDS) does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) for the submission, processing, or publication of articles.

This policy ensures that our journal remains accessible to a broad range of researchers and contributors, fostering inclusivity and encouraging the dissemination of high-quality research without financial barriers.

Commitment to Accessibility
NIJMDS is dedicated to supporting the global academic community by maintaining complete transparency and accessibility. There are no hidden costs or additional fees for page charges, color printing, or withdrawal requests.

Complaints

  • The Complaint Process Policy outlines the procedure for submitting complaints related to the editorial handling, peer review, publication ethics, and other aspects of the academic journal's operations. It recognizes various types of complaints, including author complaints, reviewer complaints, ethics complaints, and general complaints. Complainants are required to submit their complaints in writing, clearly stating the nature of the complaint and providing relevant details. Confidentiality and anonymity are upheld, andNIJMS treats all complaints with strict confidentiality while protecting the identity of the complainant to the extent possible.
  • Once a complaint is received, NIJMSacknowledges it and provides an estimated timeline for resolution. The complaint is thoroughly investigated, considering all available evidence, and seeking additional information if necessary. NIJMSmay contact relevant parties involved, such as authors, reviewers, or editorial staff, to gather their input. The investigation process is conducted impartially, ensuring the rights of all parties involved. Based on the findings, the NIJMSprovides a resolution to the complaint and communicates it to the complainant. If the complaint is found valid, appropriate corrective measures, such as retractions, corrections, or apologies, are taken.
  • NIJMS also allows for an appeals process if the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution. Feedback from complainants is valued for continuous improvement, and periodic policy reviews ensure effectiveness and adherence to best practices. External involvement may be sought if necessary to resolve conflicts of interest or ensure impartiality.
